You're a show renowned for having remarkably high-quality writing and characterization, and then you take one of the most stereotyped and trite representations of athleticism and hit copy+paste to get three of the flattest characters I've ever seen.

Really now? That doesn't fly. Especially not with someone who actually PLAYS a sport.

Whatev, I like these three. Also, I'm prooooooooooooobably not going to stop drawing this stuff any time soon.

Even if they were only on screen for a bit. The lazy stereotype is still lazy. I'm almost hoping the writers put them in another episode on the vain hope they act a little differently. Not that I'm complaining. Technically they've gotten more speaking lines than most any other background pony in the whole show.

Well...dumbbell at least.

Yeah, because characters who are featured on screen for about 30 seconds for a single episode totally need strong characterization.

Hahaha relax dude. I drew this forever ago back when I was a lot harder on the show than I am now. I still LIKE this bunch but I don't even hold this sentiment anymore. I appreciate you for visiting though!

Jock A: Hey look its like Rainbow Crash!
Rainbow Dash: Yeah but I am a Boss and have a ton of fans.
Fans: We love you Rainbow!

Rainbow Dash: Even Fluttershy got a pegacadillac and does not need to fly.
A Pegacadillac is a Cadillac car with wings.

*A large yellow and pink pegacadillac flies by and stops*
*The side window slides down and Fluttershy in wrap around shades looks out and gives the jocks the bird*
*The side window slides up and the pegacadillac flies off.*
Rainbow Dash: Later losers! *she flies off*

*The jocks look down on the clouds a bit then decide to hit the local bars.*
Jock B: Lets just drink a lot of beer and see who can hurl the furthest!
Jock C: Whoo hoo!
Jock A: Ahhhhh Yeah!

I would love to make this into a comic.
Could see this in my head, maybe they need to raise my dosage.

The Pegacadillac would be a pain to draw but it would be cool looking.
The car would be yellow with green/pink highlights.

Maybe Fluttershy would drive up in a PegaBenz/PegaLexus/Pegafiniti?
When she is slumming maybe she drives a PegaFord/PegaJetta/PegaMustang.
